Is Private Duty Nursing Care Right For You?
Connected Home Care of Burlington has Private Duty Nurses who are Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Our nurses are responsible for assessing the evolving needs of clients in order to keep them healthy and improve the quality of their lives. They engage with clients’ family members to support the overall well-being of their clients. They advocate for their client’s needs with physicians and other ancillary providers. In some cases, they may work with a multidisciplinary team of caregivers to assure their clients receive the level of care and services they need to continue living safely and comfortably in their homes.
Private Duty Nurses provide a range of skilled services, including:
- Wound and dressing care
- IV therapy/injections
- Pain and symptom management
- Medication management
- End of life/palliative care
- Mobility Training
- Foot care
- Occupational therapy
- Ventilator care
By assessing their ongoing needs and delivering appropriate care, Private Duty Nurses allow their clients to remain living safely in the comfort and familiarity of their homes.
