Experienced Home Health Aides Needed in Stoneham
Our mission is to serve seniors with the help of caring, multi-disciplinary teams anchored by professional caregivers. We support our caregiving staff with free PC and HHA and other professional training, nursing support, a daily pay option, flexible schedules, as well as many other benefits.
Of course, we offer full COVID 19 training and personal protective equipment to ensure both caregivers and clients are safe.
Qualifications and Skills
- Enjoy helping the elderly
- Prompt and dependable
- Reliable Transportation – car especially helpful
- Knowledge of homemaking tasks
- Able to go shopping and/or run errands
- Friendly, attentive, sociable
- CNA/HHA/PCA Certification qualifies you for more cases but not necessary to begin
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide companionship and social support
- Assists clients in bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helps patients care for themselves by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene.
- Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise and including information in daily reports
- May help family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and reposition the patient.
- Meal prep, light housekeeping, some shopping & running errands
