Elder Care Services - HHAs
As part of our care team Home Health Aides support our clients by maintaining their ability to continue living at home safely with the proper support. An HHA will provide certain personal care and other health-related services as described in the individual's care plan.
JOB DETAILS:
- Assist with the activities of daily living (ADLS) and personal care including but not limited to:
- Bathing
- Shaving
- Mouth care
- Hair
- Nail and skin care
- Dressing
- Exercise
- Positioning
- Ambulation and transfers
- Feeding
- Toileting
- Medication reminders
- Companionship services
- Observe and report changes in client status
- Follow a written care plan
- Complete and maintain records of daily activities
- Monitor client supplies
- Perform light housecleaning tasks including but not limited to:
- Laundry
- Bed care
- Bathroom Care
- Assist with essential shopping/errands
- Help with meal prep; this may include following a specialized diet plan as identified on the care plan
- Escort clients on appointments (requires pre-approval)
- Other duties as assigned
