McLean Hospital is dedicated to improving the lives of people and families affected by psychiatric illness. Minuteman Senior Services is an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) serving communities in the MetroWest Boston area. ASAPs operate under a state contract to coordinate and deliver a wide range of services to senior citizens in their regions.

SNAP offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities. SNAP is the largest program in the domestic hunger safety net. The Food and Nutrition Service works with State agencies, nutrition educators, and neighborhood and faith-based organizations to ensure that those eligible for nutrition assistance can make informed decisions about applying for the program and can access benefits. FNS also works with State partners and the retail community to improve program administration and ensure program integrity.

Commonwealth Care Alliance serves Massachusetts "dual eligible" population of citizens eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. CCA provides care for elders and those with disabilities. CCA builds a statewide network of primary care practices and a safety net of human service organizations, independent living centers, and community-based organizations to serve the dual-eligible population.

The COA transportation services are available to all senior residents and disabled residents. CES provides Adult Day Health and Alzheimer Day Care Services to elders and disabled adults. Locations in Lexington, Arlington, Concord, and Burlington.

For seniors who live alone and cannot prepare food for themselves. Volunteers deliver meals and often can provide some social stimulation. Recipients must be at least 60 years old. Services can be for a short period, such as recovery from surgery, or for an indefinite period. Meals are federally subsidized under the Older Americans Act.

Carleton Willard Village is a charitable, not-for-profit community offering a flexible range of services, including independent living apartments and cluster homes, assistance in living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and support for those with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Chelmsford Crossing services include Assisted Living and Short Term Care. It is part of the Benchmark Senior Living network, which has dozens of facilities throughout New England, including more than 20 in Massachusetts. In addition to Leominster, the network includes facilities in Leominster, Newton, Waltham, and several other Massachusetts communities.

The Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (Mass ALFA) is a not-for-profit association that provides information and advocacy for operators of assisted living facilities in Massachusetts. It is a resource for finding a residence via their searchable database of Massachusetts facilities.

Newbury Court, a not-for-profit residence, has been in Concord since 1994. The community offers a variety of living options and choice in services. Newbury Court provides a continuum of services and amenities as client needs change. Should a client find the need for further assistance with household chores or personal care, rather than trying to find the help, or worse, consider relocation, the community coordinates the provision of those services in the home. If rehabilitation or nursing care should become necessary, Newbury Court is home to Rivercrest Wellness and Rehab. A memory support assisted living neighborhood, The Gardens, is also on site providing a supportive, homelike environment for those with memory loss.
